ᐅ Is Knauf Perlfix from January 2018 still usable?

Good evening,

my dear father-in-law brought me two opened bags of Knauf Perlfix from 2018 today. It’s a kind gesture, but isn’t that only good for the trash by now? I’d rather ask before I dispose of the approximately 40kg (88 lbs).
