ᐅ Is it possible to shorten the Ikea Sända track system?

Hi everyone, I have a big problem 🙁 I have a ceiling connection in the middle of the room. Now I would like to install a few lamps over the dining table using the SÄNDA track system... Is it possible to shorten the tracks? Or can the track be installed so that the ceiling connection is centered underneath the track? I hope what I’m writing here is clear to everyone. I’m planning to go to Ikea tomorrow morning but really need this information beforehand 🙁 Thanks a lot for "listening" 😀

I have a similar issue and am considering installing the Sända 4-way connector 701.714.61 between two 70cm (28-inch) Sända rails, as it also serves as a ceiling power connection.
