Hello everyone,
is it possible to install a 20cm (8 inches) drawer from Maximera at the top inside an 80cm (31.5 inches) wall cabinet (side cabinet) from Metod, and then have a 60cm (24 inches) door underneath?
The Metod kitchen planner does not allow this option. However, I am happy to assemble it myself on site.
It is intended to be a sideboard.

We have the Stensund front from IKEA in light green and are very happy with it... It’s quite new – maybe it could work for you too. Here, it is only available on order. I no longer rely on such items from IKEA and now only buy what is actually available for immediate pickup.I was a bit disappointed yesterday: it feels like the display area was cut in half. Simple cabinets (drawer on top, door below) weren’t available at all. At least I could check out the Veddinge surface on two cabinets.
And I noticed: 44 euros (about 50 USD) more for a Stensund door – but that style wasn’t really what I wanted anyway. Havstorp caught my interest, but it’s currently out of stock.
Regarding the price: I miscalculated the day before yesterday. Yesterday I realized that the sideboard with drawers would cost me nearly 200 euros (about 220 USD) more. We don’t actually need the drawers, it would have just been a nice-to-have. So just individual doors. Assembled today, then went to the hardware store, and tomorrow the doors will be adjusted. The third door can’t even be closed fully because of the handle. The wooden board still needs stain and finish, and of course, it’s just placed on top for now.
