To what extent is insulation actually useful in a new build? I haven't found anything here about Konrad Fischer. Have there already been threads on this topic? If so, sorry... I didn't want to start yet another fundamental thread.

Ok, I think my question is a bit general after reading many threads here. It always depends on the individual case, the building envelope (e.g., monolithic), and so on.

That question is too general. There are also different opinions on this matter. I believe the building must be considered as a whole. It is then important to know which heating and ventilation systems are installed in the house.
