ᐅ Is a glass breakage acceptable within the mold?

Here I am again:

The windows are installed. Unfortunately, there were issues such as the attached glass damage, which cannot be photographed clearly with my mobile phone camera once installed, as the image always becomes blurry (glass is difficult to photograph).

This blemish is clearly visible from both inside and outside at a distance of 2 meters (6.5 feet). Do I really have to accept this according to regulations and case law? At least that is the information provided by the representative of the window supplier regarding acceptance.

If so, I would find that unfortunate, as I would then have to purchase a new pane at my own expense... 🙁.

Hmm, that depends on what was agreed upon and your rhetorical skills.

What needs to be agreed upon for something like this to be considered unacceptable? For me as a layperson, this is simply a broken pane of glass... It would have been obvious to me that the contractor/supplier would replace it.

I will report on the results and how the nationally recognized supplier responds to it 🙂

Even after looking at it several times, I can’t figure out what your picture shows. Is the glass breakage visible, or is it hidden behind the frame?

When installed, it is clearly visible at the outer edge of the pane, even from a distance of 2 meters (6.5 feet).
