I am currently focusing a lot on kitchen planning.
I am considering an integrated automatic coffee machine.
Do you have one, and would you choose it again?
Can you recommend a specific model or share tips on what to look out for?
And the most important question: how is maintenance and cleaning handled?
For example, does it need to be removed once a year for servicing?

We originally did not want a built-in fully automatic machine. However, since we don’t have a practical space in the kitchen, we will now install one after all. Unfortunately, Gaggenau has discontinued the fully automatic machine with fixed connections for fresh and wastewater. Supposedly, there were too many issues. So now it will be a “standard” one. At least the connections are arranged so that we could switch to a model with fixed connections later on.

Is there no other supplier?I don’t have a comprehensive market overview, but I think every major manufacturer offers this. It’s probably like with down-draft ventilators—everyone wants a piece of the pie.
Where there is a market, they want to provide an option.

Where there is a market, they want to have a product available. No. As far as I know, only Miele still offers direct water connection.

But that actually makes it even more problematic. If only Miele does it and a replacement is needed later, what happens if Miele no longer offers it at that time?
