ᐅ Is a Built-In Fully Automatic Coffee Machine Recommended?

I am currently focusing a lot on kitchen planning.
I am considering an integrated automatic coffee machine.
Do you have one, and would you choose it again?
Can you recommend a specific model or share tips on what to look out for?
And the most important question: how is maintenance and cleaning handled?
For example, does it need to be removed once a year for servicing?

I also like a built-in one. Unfortunately, we didn’t have space for it.
The cooking school we like to visit has one from Miele. It is great.

We decided not to choose a built-in oven, nor a built-in microwave. The latter always has a cooking cavity that is too small in the built-in design.

We prefer to use standard appliances, which are also usually cheaper than built-in models.

If an appliance breaks down, we are free to choose a new one without restrictions.

Forget about that quickly. It’s very expensive, and what kind of coffee does it make? Nothing decent. It’s better to reserve a nice spot for a portafilter machine and get one of those. You’ll need a bit of practice, but then you’ll never want to drink the weak coffee from a fully automatic machine again.

I can only agree. And a portafilter machine is a real eye-catcher. We don’t want to miss our Bezzera anymore.

And then in the future, you might not want to drink coffee outside anymore because you realize what watery stuff is actually being served to you...
A few months ago, I treated myself to a Rocket Appartamento with a Eureka Specialita, and it’s a dream!
I would never buy a fully automatic machine again, especially not a built-in one.

I also had a Rocket espresso machine with a portafilter at home for a while. Yes, it was beautiful. And the espresso was delicious too.

In practice, that was about it. Too often, I just didn’t feel like going through the process. Now it’s in the office, and the employees enjoy it.

Everyone has to decide for themselves, but this works much better for us.
