ᐅ Is it realistic to expect an extra charge for colored windows?

My planner is asking for an additional 2400 EUR to have the windows finished in anthracite on the outside. Is this a realistic amount? These are Weru uPVC windows with triple glazing.
Here is a list of the windows (width x height):
6x double windows D DK 1.76m x 1.26m (5.8 ft x 4.1 ft)
6x floor-to-ceiling windows DK 1.13m x 2.26m (3.7 ft x 7.4 ft)
1x floor-to-ceiling double window D DK 1.76m x 2.26m (5.8 ft x 7.4 ft)
3x windows DK 1.01m x 1.26m (3.3 ft x 4.1 ft)
What would these windows cost in the standard all-white version, and what do you estimate as an additional cost for the special anthracite color on the exterior?

I can’t give you any exact details. We had a similar experience. After hearing about the price increase, we decided to keep it white. I can’t remember the exact amount, but we also thought the surcharge was quite high.
I suspect that this surcharge comes directly from the window manufacturer and is simply passed on by the general contractor.

DerBjoern11 Jun 2014 13:24That sounds about right. I paid an additional charge of, I believe, 2250€ for anthracite textured foil on a few extra windows.

I don’t remember the exact price anymore. I think it was something around 2500 € plus 500 € for the front door.
We decided to go with white.

we are paying an additional charge of 1,800 € for the following windows and front door in anthracite on the outside:
1 x narrow bathroom window 0.625 m (2.05 ft) wide
1 x corner window 1.36 m (4.46 ft) wide
4 x floor-to-ceiling windows 0.77 m (2.53 ft) wide
6 x floor-to-ceiling double windows 1.76 m (5.77 ft) wide
2 x floor-to-ceiling windows 0.88 m (2.89 ft) wide
4 x double windows 1.76 m (5.77 ft) wide
1 x window 2.01 m (6.60 ft) wide
However, we had included in the contract an additional charge for all windows regardless of quantity. According to the contract, one or two more windows have been added.
