julianpeHello everyone,
I have heard different opinions so far, so I wanted to ask in this group.
We will soon move into our newly built house. Our architect recently asked us if we want an energy certificate.
Isn't this now mandatory, even for owner-occupied properties?
(The house is planned according to the Energy Saving Ordinance 2016, no KfW standard/funding)
I would appreciate your valued opinion.
Thanks and best regards
Julian

If it is obtained free of charge through the architect, then take it. Otherwise, skip it.

We did not follow KfW standards or apply for any subsidies. The construction was carried out exactly as planned. No tests were conducted, nor were any certifications required.
