Is an air conditioning system necessary for the attic with a roof pitch of 35 degrees facing south, featuring two roof windows and a dormer on the south side? The rooms on the south side, arranged from west to east, are an office, a children's room, and a bedroom.
Opinions vary widely on this. A heat pump with cooling function and a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery will be installed.
At the moment, the plan is to at least equip the south-facing rooms in the attic and possibly also the ground floor (living/dining area) with air conditioning.

So, our offer for Perfera indoor units is 12,000€ including installation. A large portion of that is the outdoor unit, which costs 4,800€ net including the mounting bracket and accessories. One indoor unit has a condensate pump, while the other three drain into the basement where they are then drained using a condensate pump. I think the price is basically reasonable, and with the 3% VAT reduction, the price would go down. I would also ask about cash discount, depending on that, a round price of 11,000€ might be possible.
The smaller rooms will have a Perfera CTXM (the exact model isn’t specified, but they mainly differ in capacity), and for the larger room, an FTXM is listed. I would ask to have the exact models confirmed again, although I assume they have been chosen appropriately, but it’s better to double-check.

Thank you! Yes, I agree, the equipment prices are quite in line with what you can find online. And yes, the main cost driver is the multi-split outdoor unit, BUT it is supposed to provide cooling for the house for a considerable amount of time!
What also adds to this is that we have a very good feeling about the HVAC technician (and have heard good things), and he could probably implement the system in about three weeks.

I would ask for the exact model numbers again, although I assume they have been chosen appropriately; however, it’s always better to double-check. Just as a side note: the FTXM and CTXM are not part of the Perfera series; they belong to the Professional series.
The indoor units of the Perfera series are called FTXTM-M or ATXTP-M, and as far as I recall, they also have different outdoor units.
The indoor units look almost identical, but the Perfera series is designed for -25°C (−13°F), enabling efficient heating even in colder regions.
Which outdoor unit have you been offered?
