pffreestyler19 Feb 2019 07:52Hello,
On Saturday, we will be installing the rainwater and wastewater pipes outside.
Attached are the approximate positions of the pipe runs.

My main concern is with the wastewater pipe—whether I should install a maintenance shaft somewhere along the line. The pipe length from the bathroom is about 14m (46 feet) and from the utility room about 10m (33 feet). If a shaft is installed, it would probably be best near the bathroom. According to the experts, it’s possible to do without one at this length, but it’s not absolutely necessary.
Checking with the neighbors hasn’t been very helpful so far. Only two have started work. One has two shafts, but their pipe runs are significantly longer. The other is working alongside me on Saturday and is skipping a shaft with a similar pipe length because he says any problems can be addressed at the connection shaft since it’s not far away. So far, this is not really representative.
What do you think in my case? Necessary? Not necessary but advisable? Not needed since the connection shaft is nearby?

Hello
I have about 8 meters (26 feet) from the house to the sewer connection. At halfway along the line, I have an inspection chamber. Two 120cm (48 inches) concrete sewer pipes. A tapered chamber on top, closed with a concrete cover. It was a day of digging (the excavations for the house had already been completed long ago, so I worked with a shovel and spade), but I always get close to the cause when dealing with blocked PVC pipes.

...and check what the development plan specifies for drainage.
For us, the mandatory requirement is: 2 inspection chambers and a cistern. Totally ridiculous, since having the cistern should have made one of the inspection chambers unnecessary. Luckily, in individual contracts, they weren't as expensive as with the general contractor.
