Hello, we have an older building. The windows were replaced, and the old window sills were removed beforehand. The facing bricks were loose...
Now the window installer has glued an EPDM sealing membrane (according to the invoice) onto the masonry. A new concrete base, about 4-5 cm (1.5-2 inches) high with a slope, is to be placed on top of this for the new window sills.
Can the garden construction concrete with trass be poured directly into the formwork onto this sealing membrane, or is a bonding agent or something else needed to ensure adhesion between the EPDM and the concrete?
The picture shows this sealing membrane.

hmm I know that we sprayed a primer on the concrete of the floor slab before we adhered the EPDM waterproofing membranes. So it would only be logical that the EPDM membrane also requires a primer to ensure proper adhesion to the concrete later on. However, I have no chemical knowledge about this.
