ᐅ Is a foundation necessary for containers? If so, how should it be done?

Hello everyone,
A shipping container office is going to be placed on an agricultural property. The container measures 6 meters (20 feet) long, 2.5 meters (8 feet) wide, and 2.8 meters (9 feet) high.
See photos of the container and the installation site.
The question is whether a foundation is needed for this. Are there people here with experience?
Is a proper concrete foundation required, or would a few stacks of paving slabs be sufficient?
I appreciate any help! 🙂

Okay, so you had a distance of about 1 meter (3.3 feet) between the support points?
That would make 16 points, I believe. That’s quite a number!
I can well imagine that you wouldn’t have any problems then. That would be roughly 150 kilograms (330 pounds) per point.
Thanks for the tip!
How would you recommend shimming the slabs?
With sand? Or gravel? Crushed stone? And how thick?

How would you support the slabs underneath?
With sand? Or gravel? Crushed stone? And how thick? No support underneath at all. Just directly on the undisturbed soil.
Fewer points would probably have worked too. I wanted to be sure it would hold since we lived in it. But I wanted something removable, so no solid foundation.

And how thick? If you want it to be permanent and don’t have sandy soil like in Brandenburg, I would recommend a crushed stone foundation. With our clay soil, it would definitely sink.At my company, I had to set up three of these containers. I constructed a strip foundation with 30cm (12 inches) of compacted gravel and placed 30x30cm (12x12 inches) paving slabs on top. It has been stable for five years. This might be a bit more than necessary, but the container company required it.
