We are currently deciding whether to choose a tile roof or a metal roof for our house. It is a KFW 55 energy-efficient house with a gable roof and two dormers planned.
Visually, we prefer the look of a metal roof, but the tile covering is almost 10,000 EUR cheaper. Therefore, the choice seems clear. Are there any significant advantages of a metal roof that would justify the higher cost?
