According to the development plan, a house with 1.5 floors, a gable roof with a pitch of 24-27 degrees, and no knee wall is permitted. We are wondering how this is supposed to work. Does anyone have experience with this and a solution to offer? We actually want to build a prefabricated house, not an architect-designed house (due to cost certainty).

In cases where the plot hasn’t even been acquired yet, I can somewhat understand that behavior. [...] You can anonymize the details if you’re worried that other bidders might be reading along. No, even such a fear does not justify all means. Even the most desperate land seekers do not scour the internet for forum posts mentioning "Posemuckel IV housing development" to find out if someone hasn’t firmly secured a plot yet. In my firm opinion, people who worry their topping-out ceremony would turn into a flash mob if they don’t obscure street names in aerial photos need psychological help rather than construction expertise.https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/

Even the most desperate property seekers don’t scour the internet looking for forum posts where someone mentions not having securely purchased a plot in connection with “Baugebiet Posemuckel IV.” And people who think their topping-out ceremony will turn into a flash mob if they don’t scribble the street names on aerial photos, in my firm opinion, need psychiatric help rather than construction expertise. Sorry – I find it hard to make sense of this here.

Oh, I don’t think @kati1337 sees it that way. 😉 People here do like to browse curiously after all. Yes, there are strange characters online in higher concentration than in real life, but how many of them already have their money bag under the pillow ready to make a quick grab?
The fact is: making it harder for helpful and competent fellow forum members of all kinds to offer free advice—which is no less valuable—is rude and shows a lack of appreciation (for the advice itself, the expertise behind it, the willingness to give advice without expecting anything in return, and the relative importance of mistrust versus the occasional justified paranoia). Furthermore, even a complete beginner can’t begin to imagine what insights can be gained through competent reading of related documents (such as the reasoning behind the building plan or its previous changes) and/or an aerial view revealing exceptions or exemptions. Assisting such people any further simply goes beyond my limit for masochism. A questioner needs to put in some effort. “Wash me, but don’t get me wet” has its limits; and when someone offers you a helping hand, you shouldn’t bite it—no matter how scared or timid you are.
