We have fulfilled our dream of owning a home and are now facing many challenges that some of you may be familiar with. I am currently dealing with a "small issue": an interior wall. According to the building specification (BJ 66), non-load-bearing walls are all those referred to as "lightweight concrete blocks V 25." Since these are non-load-bearing, they can be removed. So far, so good. However, I cannot find any description of how to precisely identify these walls. Apparently, these blocks existed both as hollow ones and as solid 25cm (10 inches) blocks similar to HBL 25 bricks. It would be simpler if the blocks were easily recognizable as solid panels (without cavities). Then the question would be resolved (I have not yet been able to inspect the wall in its bare state). If this is not the case, I would appreciate any advice. I am asking now because later I will have no reception. Perhaps an answer will come before then, so I can examine the wall differently.
Thank you very much.

The number 25 refers to the bulk density, and the V indicates a solid brick. For wall thicknesses of 11.5cm (4.5 inches) or less, hollow blocks also make little sense. Without being able to quickly check the details, I would say the panels for non-load-bearing interior walls likely resemble gypsum boards, meaning large formats up to about 1m (3.3 feet) in length.
