Hello!

Is it possible to integrate a Rengöra dishwasher into the new Knoxhult series?

The "display kitchens" always have only a stove, but no dishwasher.

Hello

Unlike a stove/oven, a dishwasher is not built into a base cabinet. It stands freely under the countertop and between base cabinets. The height is already suitable, but you will need to do some adjustments with the front panel.

Additionally, you need to discard the supplied countertops, replace them with new ones, and install a skirting panel at the base.
Since the Knoxhult cabinets are placed side by side with a gap, you can also install a standalone appliance between the cabinets.

I installed the current LAGAN (identical in case and front door to Rengöra) into a FYNDIG kitchen for a guest kitchen back then.

With KNOXHULT, you don’t get a dishwasher front panel (just like with FYNDIG back then). For white matte fronts, you can usually find a cut-to-size board at the hardware store to fit your desired height. I would make this board as tall as the neighboring cabinets, above the baseboard. You can no longer use the KNOXHULT countertops; instead, buy a corner countertop, for example.

The RENGÖRA comes with two installation manuals, one for METOD and one for FAKTUM. You need to follow the METOD instructions (with hinge technology), and the drilling template may not be a perfect fit—it needs to be adjusted vertically. I drilled multiple times with FYNDIG until it fit. You only need the front and a countertop; everything else for the dishwasher (sliding hinge bracket, screws, template, etc.) is included.

Regarding the baseboard, I would make a U-shaped baseboard out of three cut-to-size boards from the hardware store, cut them slightly to match the original KNOXHULT base height, and attach them to the neighboring cabinets on the left and right using strong adhesive strips like Tesa Power-Strips.

Hi!

I’m facing the same problem. Only 180cm (71 inches) of space in the kitchen, limited budget, and I need to fit the stove, sink, and dishwasher (each 60cm (24 inches)) in there. So, we’re looking at the Knoxhult and would have a stylish kitchen: 180cm (71 inches) with sink and built-in stove... The only option is to have the standard built-in dishwasher in the middle or on the left. Everything would fit perfectly if the cabinet wasn’t continuous throughout.

Isn’t it possible to simply remove or cut out the base for 60cm (24 inches) in the middle or on the left and place the dishwasher there? Why wouldn’t the countertop still fit then?

The countertop comment referred to the 120 cm (47 inches) cabinet with a dishwasher included. If you cut something out of the 180 cm (71 inches) cabinet, it will initially become unstable, and the clear width inside a unit is smaller than the width of the dishwasher.

The 3-unit KNOXHULT costs €148. A METOD oven cabinet with a Förvara drawer and HÄGGEBY front is €57, a 60 cm (24 inches) base cabinet with two shelves and a FÖRVARA drawer on top is €62, a LILLTRÄSK countertop is €17, 8 legs cost €14, a plinth panel is €14, and a front panel for the dishwasher is €8, totaling €172. Often, you can find METOD parts in the clearance section, which makes it even cheaper.
