ᐅ Insure building plot until construction start

Hello everyone,

Could you please tell us if you insured your building plot in any way before the start of construction?

At the moment, it is still just a meadow. In the fully developed area, 18 single-family houses are being built. So far, only the boundary markers have been placed and the utilities and road have been installed. However, all plots have already been sold to private individuals.

It's included in my personal liability insurance... maybe check there.

We have taken out a home and land liability insurance policy for 46.48 euros per year.

(Our current home and land liability insurance for the house we live in does not cover the new plot of land, and since the policy has been in place since 1947, we did not want to make any changes to it.)

Usually included in personal liability insurance. Check this or switch to a higher coverage plan. It is often cheaper than standalone products.
