Hello everyone,

I’m new to the forum and have a question. I hope someone here can help me—thanks in advance.
We are building with KfW requirements, so we were supposed to take photos of the construction regulations.
In the excitement, I forgot to take photos of the insulation, specifically the 8 cm (3 inches) layer on the floor slab.
On top of this insulation, the insulation for the underfloor heating was installed, then the underfloor heating itself, and finally the screed.
Could this cause an issue with the energy consultant? I do have the invoice for the 8 cm (3 inches) insulation with a thermal conductivity rating of 0.035 W/(m·K) confirming it was installed, but unfortunately no photos.
Does anyone have experience with this?

Good luck

Hmm, well, I’m also building according to KfW standards, but no one has ever asked me for photos…

I received a call today asking if I could already send the photos of the insulation, roller shutter boxes, etc.
I am building to KfW 40 standard, and as mentioned, I am still missing the photos of the basement (KG) 8 cm (3 inches) above the foundation slab.

Why doesn’t he do them himself or visit the construction site? Just write that there are no photos. If he’s being difficult, he can ask the contractor for confirmation.
