Hello. I want to close off one side of my conservatory because I plan to install a large cupboard there (I already have the building permit / planning permission). Can I insulate the glass pane (12mm (0.5 inch) flat glass from 1986) from the inside? That is, insulation applied directly on the glass, then a vapor retarder with variable permeability on top, and finally a covering like OSB, MDF, plywood, chipboard, etc., so that it is not visible?

How do you come up with the idea that a conservatory from 1986 with 4-4-4 glazing can be sufficiently upgraded through wall insulation to become a year-round living space?

It is suitable for year-round living. It has underfloor heating, among other features.
The main goal is to close off the wall so that a built-in wardrobe can be placed there without the windows behind it being visible.
