Hello!
Is it possible to install the roof frame insulation, specifically the insulation between the rafters, before the windows are installed in a new build?
Reason: Unfortunately, the installation of our windows has been delayed by 8 weeks. To avoid being completely idle, we would like to start the insulation work in June/July.
Thank you very much!

There is no reason not to do it. However, it is best to insulate the roof after the screed has dried. But it is not mandatory; just make sure to ventilate well.

We have already installed the insulation, as it becomes extremely difficult to do so later with a hip roof. Therefore, we placed the insulation before closing up the roof frame. The windows will be installed in about a month...
