Hello,
I had my windows installed as far toward the exterior as possible (solid wall construction – I mention this because of the usual advice like "windows should ideally be within the insulation layer," etc.).
Now I’m wondering if I can simply insulate the roller shutter box and the gap around it from the inside. And if so, how? Can I fill the gap between the wall and the box with mineral wool, then cover it with a board of extruded polystyrene (XPS) or wood fiber insulation board, and then have it plastered?

Thank you. So, spray expanding foam into the gap around the boxes and then glue insulation boards on the inside. Could this cause problems with condensation due to the insulation being on the inside? The roller shutter box itself is also insulated, but is that enough to move the dew point outward?
