Hello,

I would like to install LAN cables in every room of the house after construction. The walls upstairs are made of drywall. Is it possible to run a LAN cable through the attic and then push the cables into the walls from there?
There is currently no flooring or covering in the attic. If the insulation is removed, it should be possible to access the drywall, right?
There are 3 rooms, and I want to install 2 LAN cables in each. I would prefer not to remove the wallpaper, but rather drill a hole next to an existing electrical outlet and push the cable in from the attic.
Thanks in advance for the answers.

The walls have been plastered and wallpapered. And the wallpaper is actually meant to stay on.

Then probably planned incorrectly ;-(

Maybe talk to the craftsman who built the wall. It might be possible to fish the cable through.

Good luck!

I was not involved in the planning.
Since I will soon have a fiber optic connection with 100,000 kbit/s (100,000 kbit/s), I would like to have a wired connection directly to the PC instead of just Wi-Fi (Powerline adapters are not an option).
