We are planning a bungalow.
Our builder has offered 1500 € for installing a relatively good satellite dish on the roof.
What do you think of this offer? If I do it myself, what would the cost be?
What is your suggestion?

Best regards

So, only a special roof tile, dish mounting set remain? And the connection for the satellite dish already exists in the attic?

At least that’s how I understand it,

Slightly off-topic, but whenever I read about "brand products like Berker, Gira, or glw," it really puts me off. [emoji51]

On the topic: I would estimate between 500 and 700. What exactly is meant by a "relatively good satellite dish"?

Why? They are standard products.

I was referring to the "glw." — that is, the inability or unwillingness to commit to a specific manufacturer and model for the customer’s benefit. What does Gira actually mean? Standard 55, E2, E3, Esprit...

This kind of wording misleads the customer, and later causes frustration because everything ends up more expensive. The customer thinks: great, E22 is included too, but BT only specified Standard 55. Then they should simply write Gira Standard 55 and not stay so vague.

I don’t go to a dealer and sign to buy a car saying "Golf, A3, 1 series or similar" and then end up with a Dacia. But as I said: off topic.

There is, of course, nothing wrong with Gira, Berker, etc. themselves. Solid manufacturers.

I think that’s fine; it is simply pointed out that not the very cheap materials from OBI are used, but rather a standard “brand-name product.”
