NeulingXX14 Sep 2022 13:41Hello,
has anyone already laid a row of square planting containers and then placed a row of round planting containers behind it with an offset?
How is the stability in this case?
If anyone has pictures, feel free to share them.
Regards

WilderSueden14 Sep 2022 15:42What is the purpose of the rings? Are they meant for slope stabilization? How large is the slope, and how high do you plan to build?
What will you place them on, and how will you backfill? Will everything be mortared or built dry?
Basically, the geometry should be less critical if you stack/build them partially offset. Much more important is that no single row settles unevenly and that both rows are well connected when stabilizing.

NeulingXX14 Sep 2022 15:47It will be a retaining wall with a height of about 1.40 to 1.6 meters (4 ft 7 in to 5 ft 3 in).
Backfill with gravel and sand.
The goal is to have a straight starting line and avoid large open spaces like with curved walls (where the curves meet). However, building the entire wall with sharp angles is too expensive for me.
