I am currently renovating my house and considering installing LED panels across the entire hallway ceiling. This way, I can avoid installing a ceiling covering on one hand, and on the other hand, provide enough light because the hallway is very dark. I have read a lot about it and learned that with a complete LED panel ceiling, various features are possible, such as color changes and even displaying entire images. On the Osram website, there is even a photo where the LED ceiling shows a blue sky with fluffy clouds. I really like that. However, I have no technical knowledge of how to implement this or which panels are really suitable for it. For cost reasons, I do not want to hire an electrician but prefer to do it myself; otherwise, it becomes too expensive since the LED panels are already quite costly. Does anyone know which models are best suited for full-area lighting? I found some online at ledmeile. Since I want to outfit the entire ceiling, I don’t need a very high lumen output for each individual panel. There are ultra-slim panels from Lumixon that measure only 30 x 30 cm (12 x 12 inches). That size would be perfect for the room. Does anyone know the 30x30 cm (12 x 12 inches) warm white LED panel from Ledmeile and could tell me if it can be connected to a controller and equipped with RGB LEDs?
