Hello fellow home builders,

we have started constructing a single-family house. The approved building permit / planning permission includes a gas heating system, which we still want to install.

There are two possible scenarios:

1. What happens if the heating system is installed in October 2023, but the house is only inspected and approved in February 2024?

2. What happens if the heating system is installed in January 2024, and the house is inspected and approved in May 2024?

Both options are difficult to plan for. So far, we do not know whether the construction schedule might be delayed.
I haven't found any information on this. Do you have any further details?

Regards,

I believe the OP asked what would happen if Minister Habeck enforces mandatory vaccination in 2024 and then bans gas heating afterwards. But I could be wrong...

Then you have to install a heat pump; he will definitely keep it.

But he will personally hand over the F-Gas to you on site. So it’s better to use R290, which is still safe!

Well, @robert0815 is reading along diligently and had already formed his opinion and acted accordingly.

Kati and you can only really understand this when you belong to a minority for the first time. I never understood the debate before because I always thought: why can’t you just say whatever you want here? But actually, you can only do that as long as you hold a certain opinion; once you have a different one, it’s quickly over with saying what you want and think. But you don’t notice that if you think like everyone else.

And the topics are becoming more diverse, now it’s climate.

Climate is a great example of where opinion ends and denial of facts begins. There are different camps in the climate debate, ranging from “we’re so frustrated we glue ourselves to the street,” to “something should be done as long as it doesn’t cost or restrict me,” to “there are more urgent issues.” It’s like how some people find oranges rather sweet, others find them bitter, or more sour.

And then there are those who stand up and claim that man-made climate change doesn’t exist at all. That position is now simply refuted by facts. It’s like if I said “oranges are rocks” and got upset that my “opinion” isn’t respected. Because the other 95% of the mainstream crowd, who don’t usually agree on much, have come to the consensus that the ‘rocks’ idea is nonsense.

The same analogy applies to the pandemic stuff. There was also a range of opinions there, and then there were the reality deniers.
