Hello,

I was informed by the site manager to install the light wells 30 cm (12 inches) below the top edge of the basement floor slab (OK RFB). The exception is the light well in the terrace area, which should be installed 15 cm (6 inches) below OK RFB.

What I don’t understand is why the light well in the terrace area should be 15 cm (6 inches) higher? I want the ground around the house and the terrace to be on the same level.

Can someone explain this to me?

Best regards,
Micha

If you walk onto a terrace area that has living space underneath, unfortunately, this is how it is. The standard floor construction is about 17 cm (7 inches). If you go outside at ground level, you can easily adjust the terrain. From the ground floor, we step out directly onto our balcony. The terrace is located above the bedroom on the lower ground floor. Here, the floor construction is about 28 cm (11 inches), resulting in a step of 12-15 cm (5-6 inches).
