ᐅ Installing Staircase Lighting

In a few days, we need to order the stair lighting.
We want to install side-mounted LED spotlights for every second step.

Most of these spotlights require a square cutout. How do you create that in the wall (all Poroton)? Is it all chiseled out?

Well, I would definitely say that the visible frame is "square," and the flush-mounted part will certainly fit into a 68mm (2.7 inches) flush-mounted box.

If not, then you will need to open up your wall accordingly.
