As expected, we need a "roll-off protection" on the sleeping loft for our boys in order to pass the building inspection by the authorities. Does anyone have ideas on how to create this simply and attractively?
Attached is a photo from the early stages of construction, but you can still get a good impression of what the sleeping loft looks like. The headroom up there is about 1.80m (5 ft 11 in), the width is approximately 4.70m (15 ft 5 in), and access is via a centrally located removable ladder.

It can be custom ordered to size and is available in many colors (depending on the age of the children). The advantage over glass or acrylic (plexiglass) is that air circulation is better, which is beneficial under the roof.
