ᐅ Installing HCPlan/HPL panels into the ground as a boundary.

Hello, can I install HCPlan/HPL panels about 40 cm (16 inches) deep into the ground as a barrier against voles around the greenhouse, or will they be damaged by frost? What would be an alternative? Paving slabs are too cumbersome for me, and stainless steel sheets react poorly with aluminum due to the galvanic series.
