ᐅ Installing ceiling speakers

Hello everyone,

I am currently working on a multiroom audio system and plan to integrate it with Loxone.

Specifically, I want to install ceiling speakers for background music, which will be mounted in suspended ceilings.

I often read online that resonance enclosures are needed to allow the sound to distribute properly.

How have you dealt with this? I like the Magnat IC82 speakers.

Are there any ready-made enclosure boxes available for these?

Looking forward to your answers and recommendations.

Background music

Oh God, who needs that? It annoys me so much already in supermarkets! If you want music: use two speakers per room, but good quality ones, not Magnat, and with enclosures as floor-standing or wall-mounted units.

That’s really a matter of taste. We think it’s nice when you enter the guest bathroom and can hear quiet birds or something similar in the background.

My cat would also enjoy that for her litter box. Songbirds.....

Exactly... To each their own. Sometimes I find the comments extremely exaggerated... Unfortunately, this is becoming more and more common in this forum...
