Hello everyone,
I have a relatively small problem. I have a sink with an installed pop-up drain rod and overflow. Now I would like to install a different drain, but unfortunately, I don’t know which one is currently installed here! After removing the trap and the rod itself, I’m hesitant to proceed further. Lightly turning the lower part didn’t help, so my question now is whether I can turn it with more force without damaging it (using pliers, etc.) or if there are other things I should consider?
It should be mentioned that my plumbing knowledge is limited to Google, YouTube, and learning by doing, but before I start forcing anything, I want to be sure I won’t cause any damage. The sink should remain intact.
