a few years ago, we had a single-leaf insect screen swing door installed into the frame of our patio door. It features a magnet in the sealing strip that also helps to hold the door comfortably in the center position. Two torsion springs—one for swinging inward and one for swinging outward—automatically return the door leaf to the center position after opening. This system was supplied and installed by the company Hildring’s Bauelemente from Stadtlohn, a medium-sized company with truly excellent craftsmanship.
Hildring is presumably no longer operating due to retirement, and one of the two torsion springs has broken on my door. Does anyone in this forum possibly know which system Hildring used or who has taken over sales or stock? I would prefer not to spend around 500 euros on a small replacement part.
