does anyone have an Ingatorp folding table and could measure the drawer for me? I want to find out if my laptop will fit, so I’d like to avoid going to IKEA just for that. 😎

Hello, whether it looks odd to you is something you have to decide yourself. Without the sides, the support battens stick out. If you also leave those out, then you have visible rectangular holes.
