I’m hoping for some help from the community.
Since we now have a child and 22°C (72°F) is definitely too cold for bathing, we will be installing an additional heater.
Back then, we had a cable installed from the cheaper electricity meter, which is dedicated to the heat pump, into the bathroom.
I’m looking for something like this

The problem with this heater is that it comes from Italy, and if there are any issues, the warranty may be difficult to handle.
I only found something similar from the company Fern

The problem there is that the towel rails have to be drilled separately into the wall.
So, I’m looking for a frameless glass infrared heater including a towel rail.
I plan to control it via Somfy or a wireless switch.
Thank you very much.

By the way – we also had a radiant heater above the changing table for both kids.
I think it was turned on a total of three times. The child was usually off the changing table before anyone even thought about using the heater. Even with Dad . But as a proactive dad, of course I had installed it back then.
This reminds me that I still want to sell the heater to create some more space.

Bathing isn’t done that often anyway, and the bathwater already warms the room nicely.
Think carefully about it if it’s really going to be installed only for that reason – 500 euros is a lot of money.

toxicmolotof6 Sep 2016 19:33We dressed our children in temperatures between 19°C and 26°C (66°F and 79°F), and both survived without any issues.
But do I understand correctly that you want to use the discounted electricity from the heat pump as a direct 1:1 heat source for infrared heating? Have you checked the supply contract for the heat pump electricity?

You can do that, but in my opinion, the reason is not convincing. Save the money and do something fun later; the child will benefit more from that.toxicmolotow schrieb:

Have you checked the supply contract for the heat pump electricity? Good point! And at the time, it was mentioned that these flush-mounted sockets are specifically designed for this purpose and therefore only devices with hardwired connections are allowed—meaning cables connected directly without plugs. Schwörerhaus knew that we are customers of EnBW, and they also installed the second meter.
I will definitely review the contract.
@Biber and Sebastian
I want it for myself as well. I admit I’m a bit of a softie sometimes, especially when I have to get up at 5 a.m. and take a shower.
