Hello,
It is very important to me that the IKEA Pax wardrobe fits into the walk-in closet. According to our planning, the Pax is 2.72 m wide (9 ft). Should I make the distance between the walls exactly 2.72 m (9 ft) wide, or do you usually allow some clearance? If yes, how much?
Does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks.

3.20!
Always plan for a standard closet and include space for plastering plus installation (plus baseboard).
Your 2.70 is a special size, either because or due to Ikea.
I wouldn’t plan for just 60cm (24 inches) depth either, but 75cm (30 inches). That way, you won’t have the problem with the light switches either 😉

The theoretical value of 272 is correct... I never think of corner cabinets when I think of Pax, because I simply find those corners awkward to use.
@SoL has already explained why that wouldn’t work from a planning perspective. And @Myrna_Loy mentioned what worries me even more: the bed position. That's only about 270 cm (106 inches) to the right of the door.
I would start by redesigning the entire area. The window arrangement around the corner is also worth reconsidering — a strip window (91 cm (36 inches) high, but what about the sill height?) next to a floor-to-ceiling window.

Mitleser1231 Apr 2022 07:32We actually left only 3cm (1 inch) of space for Pax wardrobes as a wardrobe area.
The three wardrobes together are 150cm (59 inches) wide, and we planned for 153cm (60 inches). In this niche, we only received Q2 from the builder and did not have any painting work done.
And it really fits perfectly now – all visitors ask if it is a custom-made carpentry piece^^
