Hello everyone,
As the title already suggests, I would like to control the roller shutters in my house using a touch panel.

I was considering controlling them with relays using 24 V DC (volts direct current), but I’m not sure how to connect this with the touch panel and how to control the individual actuators.

Is there already something similar available using a Raspberry Pi?
Has anyone had experience with this?

Best regards

Do you want the panels to control only the blinds, or will they also manage other functions?

Actually, just the roller blinds..
No lighting or anything else is planned.

Does a panel even make sense in this case? Why not use (wireless) switches, for example EnOcean, or a system from a roller shutter manufacturer? Or HomeKit, etc. I actually consider an isolated solution to be reasonable here.

For an Apple user, HomeKit is certainly a good choice, as it already includes voice control through Siri.

For this specific use, you could implement it even more precisely by using, for example, Somfy actuators and TaHoma as an interface on any tablet. This setup could also be distributed across multiple tablets throughout the house as needed.

If you already bring up the Raspberry Pi, this could be realized with little effort, for example with ioBroker. You would just need some integrable shutter actuators, and a simple solution would be to install Shellys behind the shutter switches. If you Google both keywords, you will find plenty of solutions on how to do this.
