ᐅ Ikea Vika Tabletop and Galant Desk Storage Units

can someone tell me if it is possible to attach the Galant desk organizer to a VIKA AMON tabletop? Since I would like to place three monitors on the desk organizer, it would also be helpful to know if the side panels of the organizer are mandatory, meaning whether they can be removed without any issues. Hi,

this part probably won’t fit the Vika tabletop. Vika tabletops are 3.4cm (1.3 inches) thick, while Galant tabletops are only 2cm (0.8 inches) thick.
