ᐅ Ikea Välgjord dishwasher door does not stay open

Hello,
We recently purchased a new dishwasher from IKEA. Now we have the following problem:
The door does not stay open. It closes by itself again, meaning it does not stay at the bottom.
The door is also harder to open than the previous one.
We do not have a panel installed in front of it yet. But this cannot be the reason, right?
It should work properly even without a panel.

Hello, somewhere in the assembly instructions there should be a section explaining how to adjust the spring tension. However, it cannot be generally ruled out that the weight of the front panel is not necessary.

With our dishwasher (not Ikea, but an old Siemens), the door also doesn’t stay open without the decorative front. The front doesn’t weigh much, but apparently it’s enough to make a small difference.

I would first install the front and then take it from there.
