Hello everyone,
I have the problem that the glass cabinet doors close slowly but do not stay open. Is there any trick to adjust this?
I have two 80cm (31.5 inches) wall cabinets, each with two 40cm x 80cm (16 inches x 31.5 inches) doors that open horizontally, and small Utrusta hinges. The kitchen consultation team member put everything together for me, but no matter which screws we turn, the doors don’t stay open, not on any of them!
It’s annoying when loading the cabinets 😕
Best regards, Nixxi

IKEA-Freund22 Jul 2015 19:51Hello,
According to Ikea, Utrusta small is suitable for a door up to 40*80 cm (16*31.5 inches). There is exactly one screw to adjust the door weight – see the instructions on page 12. Turn it all the way in again. If that is not enough, claim a warranty (25 years!) and possibly install stronger lift hinges.
