I have the Udden oven with the integrated ceramic cooktop from IKEA. Unfortunately, the Udden model is no longer available in IKEA’s range. According to a phone inquiry with Electrolux, there is no compatible ceramic cooktop for this Udden model anymore, as the connections have been updated. It might be possible to install an independent cooktop with a connection box that supports two appliance connections. Does anyone have experience with this and can offer advice?
Thank you in advance!

If you have no idea, you can definitely make a lot of mistakes here. There are probably specialist companies near you that can take a look and offer advice!

A self-contained cooktop is definitely the best solution here. You just need to pay attention to the cutout size of the countertop. The electrician can then connect the cooktop to the stove connection outlet using a power splitter, alongside the oven. The control knobs for the cooktop located on the oven will become redundant but won’t cause any problems.
