Hello
I have a great round/oval (extendable) solid pine table and six chairs with blue and white upholstery.
Since I bought them second-hand when I moved into my first own apartment, I didn’t even know the furniture was from IKEA. They have served me very well over the last ten years and are still in very good condition.
Now I would like to pass them on and, some time ago, I found pictures of this exact table on the cover of an old IKEA catalog.
Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find out the name so far. Maybe someone here knows the names?

Hello, the chair should be a KRISTINA, and the table might be a GILLE.
GILLE is made of pine, has a diameter of 120 cm (47 inches), is 200 cm (79 inches) long with 2 extension leaves, and the tabletop is 38 mm (1.5 inches) thick.

So the total length of the table is 195 cm (77 inches), the diameter as a circle is 115 cm (45 inches), and the thickness is 27 or 28 mm (about 1 inch). Does that still fit?

No, the panel will not shrink to become 1 cm (0.4 inches) thin.

In the 1990s, GILLE was still available, but it has since been reduced to 117 cm (46 inches) or 197 cm (78 inches) in size. The panel thickness is no longer specified but appears thinner than before.

Unfortunately, I can’t find any pictures online when searching for Gille.
The group could also be from the 1990s; the 1980s was just an estimate on my part 🙂

Unfortunately, I also can’t find any pictures for comparison under the chair name.
