Hello,

I hope someone here can help me. I need a new siphon set for the LAGAN kitchen sink with draining board, which is no longer available. Can I use the current Atlant double siphon, or do I have to turn to a third-party manufacturer? Or should I just buy a new sink since there is no suitable siphon available anymore?

Thank you very much for any advice,

The LAGAN round sink is essentially the current Boholmen round sink...

Atlant fits without any issues – what do you mean by double trap? You obviously can’t use the one for two basins, but the regular one instead.

There was apparently once a round LAGAN basin with a separate round drainage area.

That’s correct! I have a round sink with an integrated round draining area. That’s why by double trap I meant the trap for two basins.

First of all, the hole in the drainage surface needs to be exactly the same size as the one in the sink.

A potential issue could be the likely significant difference in height between the sink and the Alf. There would need to be a height adjustment possible between the two connection pieces. I don’t think the Atlant provides this, but I’m not sure.

Maybe something can be done using a hose, or by using two traps and connecting them with a Y-branch into the drain pipe.

It might also be worth considering whether a round sink and this drip tray are practical.
