Yesterday we bought a shower curtain rod "Sävern" at Ikea.
The instructions make it look like you just need to pull it apart and wedge it between the walls.
Unfortunately, the rod doesn’t extend. Turning it so far hasn’t helped either.
Does anyone have a tip for us?

Maischauer7 May 2016 01:44I had the same problem. The solution was, as much as I dislike saying it, brute force. At least it requires significantly more effort than the product description (“easy”) suggests. Be careful not to pull the rod too far apart at once, but gradually approach the necessary length step by step.
