We have a HÄFTIGT, and it never switches off. It is constantly audible. From my experience with older refrigerators, the compressor would turn off occasionally, making them completely silent.
Does anyone else have this model? How is it with you?
We had it installed inside a cabinet that is only 208 cm (82 inches) high. The kitchen planner didn’t approve this, but the fitters were able to do it without any problems.
The only thing that seems odd to me is that the ventilation grille in the plinth was cut into the adjacent cabinet (next to the oven).
Looking forward to any information.

IKEA-Experte13 Aug 2015 14:48You can try removing the baseboard panel temporarily, but I don’t think it will make a difference. Go through the troubleshooting table in the user manual, and if everything checks out, contact the manufacturer’s customer service.
