ᐅ Ikea Nutid Range Hood – Replacing the Halogen Bulb

Does anyone know how to replace the halogen lamp in the Nutid range hood, which has recently been discontinued?

have a look at your Ikea instruction manual.

Thanks for the tip regarding the manual, but unfortunately it was not helpful to me. According to the instructions, the halogen lamp must be removed "downwards," but I still cannot get it out. It is stuck completely solid. Neither pulling nor twisting the lamp helps.

If it is 12V with a GU4 socket as specified, then pull firmly. Was there no suction cup included to help pull it out?

It is a 12 V GU4 halogen lamp. However, the lamp in the range hood has a silver rim, unlike the new one. This rim is at least firmly attached, so I’m always unsure whether it might come out upwards, even though that seems impossible since it is housed in metal there. Nothing moves downward at all.
