Hello dear community,

Has anyone here had experience with the above-mentioned induction cooktop? I have actually only heard good things about it, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find any useful information regarding the “noise disturbance.”

In the consumer test report by Stiftung Warentest, it was mentioned that unpleasant noises may occur during operation (unfortunately, it was not specified for which models), which can particularly disturb pets. Since I have a dog and a cat, this point is especially important to me.

I would be very grateful for your feedback (of course, also from those who don’t have pets—the general opinions are of interest to me as well 😀).

Thank you very much for your effort!

Best regards

😱 😱 😱 😱 😱 😱 😱

This is completely new to me; I have never heard of it before. When it comes to induction cooktops, there is only one health-related aspect to watch out for, which is an old pacemaker. I am not aware of any noise issues at all. However, I will ask about it tomorrow and let you know.

I have been the proud (and enthusiastic) owner of this induction cooktop for two months now and can share the following. A friend told me during the kitchen installation that induction cooktops generally make some noise, which initially worried me. Testing it showed that you can indeed hear the cooktop working when you turn it on (which I actually find fascinating, even though any noise usually drives me crazy). However, as soon as you put something in the pot and, for example, fry something or boil water, no noise is audible anymore, because the cooking sounds easily drown out the noise from the cooktop itself.

As a former cat owner, I personally can’t imagine that my cats’ paws would have been bothered by this…

I hope this helps,
Best regards, Maria
