I just purchased the Nesttun bed (160cm (63 inches)), which has been newly available since April. However, I am unable to assemble the headboard and frame together. The screws meant to attach the two sides to the headboard don’t hold because they are not long enough to reach the threads and keep falling out. Am I missing something, or is this a manufacturing defect? Has anyone had experience with Nesttun?

just to be sure: have you checked the position of the screw sleeves in the headboard and footboard (fig. 1 in the instructions)?
