Hello, I would like to buy a Metod kitchen and install my own oven.
Can I install it without any issues? The kitchen planner included an oven cabinet with a drawer.
What do I need to consider?
For example, I like the following oven: AEG BE 4013021 M built-in oven stainless steel/cleansteel
Thank you very much.

The kitchen planner has probably included the

METOD / Maximera
Base cabinet for oven with drawers, white, Veddinge gray
which fits your desired oven.
According to the product details, the AEG oven has the following dimensions (W/H/D): 595 x 594 x 567 mm (23.4 x 23.4 x 22.3 inches).
Most Ikea built-in ovens are also 595 mm (23.4 inches) wide (some are 594 mm (23.4 inches) and still fit because it’s only a millimeter difference).
The height varies depending on the model between 589 and 595 mm (23.2 and 23.4 inches), and since yours is 594 mm (23.4 inches), that should not be a problem.
The depth is similar, ranging between 560 and 567 mm (22.0 and 22.3 inches), whether Ikea or AEG.
So, it should fit without any issues.
Regards

IKEA-Experte26 Aug 2015 12:22Hello,
Ovens are generally not an issue. Consider carefully whether you like cleaning the oven yourself and if you prefer to avoid pyrolytic cleaning.

I have installed a new AEG oven with pyrolysis (unfortunately, I don’t remember the exact model, but I believe it started with BP55...) into the Metod kitchen, and it fit perfectly without any modifications. I assume my model has the same dimensions as yours, so you shouldn’t have any problems at all.
Best regards
